The visit reciprocates a cultural exchange trip to China led by Perth and Kinross Council's arts development and heritage teams last year, making them the first Scottish arts delegation to visit Hunan Province.
The 14 paintings by Professor Xiaoyu Zhou are at Perth Museum and Art Gallery until December 6. This is a unique opportunity to view the work of one of China's most influential artists.

That invitation stemmed from Perth and Kinross Council's Rainbow Bridge Chinese Project. This involved schools working with the Ricefield Arts Centre and other external agencies to deliver Chinese language and cultural experiences.
And a major feature of the exchange project is a wonderful exhibition of 14 original oil paintings by Professor Xiaoyu Zhou in the Rotunda Gallery within Perth Museum and Art Gallery.
