Two Mile Ditch is in the parish of Castlegar, County Galway, and is approximately three miles from Galway City. It is mainly on the Galway to Tuam road, or towards the Galway end of the N17. In the Irish language,it is Chlaí Dhá Mhíle and it envelops townlands such as Cappanabornia, Polkeen. Local geology is Limestone and Roadstone has a quarry there. While Two Mile Ditch is quite close to the city, many parts are still zoned agricultural and you would feel that you're in the countryside. Local Business.Other businesses are G.T.B.
